Tunnels of Terror

Tunnels of Terror, codenamed Dungeon, is Back 4 Blood's first expansion of the Annual Pass that has been released on April 12, 2022.

It features an all-new co-op activity known as Ridden Hives, a new Ridden type called Warped Ridden, two new Cleaners, eight exclusive character skins, seven new legendary weapons, 12 new weapon skins, new cards, and more.

All playable content included in the Tunnels of Terror expansion is accessible by all players in a party as long as one player in that party has purchased the expansion.

On March 1, 2022, Turtle Rock Studios revealed an infographic showcasing the highlights of this expansion.

New Cleaners: Heng & Sharice[]

Main article: Cleaners

The previous eight Cleaners received backup by two newcomers.
Heng, a male Cleaner that is a tough as nails, no-nonsense restaurateur and Sharice who is an axe wielding firefighter.

Warped Ridden[]

Main article: The Ridden

Warped Ridden are a new enemy type which are divided into three different Mutations.

First we have the Urchin, which is capable of laying land mines and will be a new variant of the Hocker, Stalker and Stinger breed.
In addition, the monstrous Shredder will join the Exploder, Reeker and Retch family to make its debut.
Lastly, the damage-dealing Ripper will be joining the Bruisers, Crushers and Tallboys.

The new Warped Ridden variants are also playable in PvP Swarm mode.

Legendary Weapons[]

Tunnels of Terror introduced new so-called Legendary weapons which have unique perks and can only obtained by venturing down the Ridden Hives. These weapons are designed that they alter melee and gunplay.

Ridden Hives[]

Ridden Hives is a new PvE co-op activity in which the Cleaners will explore seven different dungeons full of labyrinthine tunnels below the depths of Evansburgh that are infested with a new Ridden type, Warped Ridden. This mode offers exclusive loot in form of legendary weapons and rewards via the Skull Totem Track.

Patch 1.07 did not only implement the first expansion but also a new difficulty mode, new skins, new cards, balance changes, bug fixes and much more.
