The Slasher is one of the Cultist members that have been introduced with the Children of the Worm expansion.
This brutish looking enemy is a human granted the Gift which caused him to become a Human-Ridden-hybrid and gained superhuman strength.

Official description[]

Equipped with Iron Claws, the Slasher is an up close and personal enemy. They will use a leap attack to close any distance and slash at their target, inflicting bleed damage.^[1]

Overview[]

The Slasher is a male cultist of stocky nature and his visible skin is heavily stained bluish after the transformation.
Like the other members of the cult, he wears inmate clothing. Over this, he wears cloth as well as a metal mask adorned with a rune that covers most of his face.

Shoulder pads with spikes, a vest with plate armor, and a belt including pouches are attached to his torso. He also wears black knee pads and his shoes are spiked like the shoulder pads.

Enhancements[]

The Director can apply the following enhancements to the Slasher to amplify his combat prowess.
While Ferocious and Monstrous cannot be active at the same time, the Director can apply Armored, Bleed and Leap effects to this Cultist simultaneously.

Ferocious

Ferocious Cultists have 25% increased Health and deal 50% increased damage.

Monstrous

Monstrous Cultists have 50% increased Health and deal 100% increased damage.

Armored

Weakspots are covered by durable Armor.

Bleed

Bleed causes damage over time that increases in severity with each additional stack.

Leap

Slashers can perform a leaping slash attack, crossing a long distance very quickly.
