Horde of Ridden
The Ridden are the formerly human hosts of the Devil Worm parasite, which turned them into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilization. They are the enemies of humanity and the Cleaners in Back 4 Blood.

The Ridden were normal humans who contracted the Devil Worm parasite that spread through the entire world. They possess reduced higher brain function, and attack and subsequently infect any uninfected non-immune targets around them on sight.

- All the Bosses (with the exception of the Abomination and Harbinger as they appear to be unique to this game) all appear to be based on past boss like Monsters from games made by Turtle Rock Studios.
- The Breaker bears heavy resemblance to the Tank from the Left 4 Dead series with a similar build and fights using pure brute force much like the Tank.
- The Hag bears resemblance to the Witch in that it is very tough to kill, fast and powerful and is based around a startling mechanic.
- And finally the Ogre bears resemblance to the Monsters in Evolve being massive in size and powerful compared to normal enemies and even functions on a multiple fight basis where similarly to Evolve the Monster retreats to regain its strength, it features similarities to Goliath specifically.
